New Suggestions
Q. You should consider getting Numi Tea.
A. We will be bringing in Numi Teas soon! They make
some great teas including Rooibus, the African Red Bush tea that
has more health benefits than green tea. It is a rich, red tea that
is delicious alone or stands up well to milk and sugar; it makes
a great substitute for black tea. The Cambridge store currently
has Rooibus in the bulk tea section.
Q. Please stock Odwalla "milk" a milk
substitute selling well at Star Market. Odwalla milk has non-GMO
ingredients and is not adulterated by oils or fructose corn syrup.
A. Harvest does carry Odwalla Milk. You can find it
with the Odwalla and Fresh Samantha Juices. Its a great product,
it tastes great and has a perfect balance of protein to carbohydrates
to fats so it doesnt send your blood sugar on a roll. You
may find it is occasionally out of stock. This is because Odwalla
makes it fresh and ships it from California. We insist they only
stock it if it has a long "sell-by" date to ensure its
really fresh.
Q. Educated customers are best, i.e. informed.
Most people shopping are in a hurry. Most buy their reading while
shopping. Please bring back Covert Action and other literature and
magazines you used to carry. Be progressive.
A. Our magazine vendor of many years suddenly stopped
doing business a few months ago. We had no warning they were going
out of business. We are now looking for a new magazine vendor who
offers the selection Co-op shoppers expect to find here!
Q. A produce selection of such stellar beauty,
(new produce section in Cambridge store) I can hardly catch my breath.
Very user-friendly and presented with taste, care, and class.
A. Thanks so much! We also love the new produce section
in Cambridge, and are still finishing the details. It offers a greater
selection, keeps the produce really fresh, and makes it easier to
find what you need! I will pass your praise on to the people who
planned and executed the work!
About Suggestions
Your
suggestion can be a catalyst for action. We keep an active list
of product requests, and review it on a regular basis when considering
new products. When we get multiple requests for a desirable product,
we actively pursue the shelf space for it by rearranging or discontinuing
existing products. When you write us about operational problems,
like out of stocks, or staffing concerns, the Store Manager keeps
a list and brings it up with the appropriate department manager
in their next regularly scheduled meeting. We want you to know we
hear your suggestions, and act on them when action is required.
We appreciate your taking the time to write us, so keep them coming.
It's an easy way for your voice to be heard, and for you to have
input into the activities at your Co-op!
