The Co-op continues its tradition of hanging artwork
by local children. We invite teachers from local public or independent
schools, homeschooling groups, after-school programs, and scout
troops to display their students special art in our stores.
Our Guidelines
Content: We seek art that shows the cooperative spirit, relates
to food or nature, depicts the sense of community in the Upper Valley,
or expresses an abstract idea. The work should not have religious
or political overtones.
Format: Student work
should be mounted on a background such as poster board or craft
paper for ease of hanging.
Media: Artwork should
be in colors strong enough to be viewed and enjoyed from a distance,
and be durable enough to withstand transportation and hanging. Paintings
and paper collage are best.
Age of artist: Pre-school
through high school.
Art is displayed for four to six weeks at a time
and is scheduled on a "first-come, first-serve" basis.
