Producer Profile

Killdeer Farm

jake guest

Killdeer Farm owners Jake and Liz Guest have been selling produce to the Co-op since 1977. Formerly living in Canaan, New Hampshire, the couple moved their farm to Norwich in 1980. The land they farm is located in both Norwich and Thetford, Vermont.

They have been selling organic produce to the Co-op since 1987, and provide a wide range of vegetables, with spinach serving as the largest crop. Killdeer Farm spinach is available from April through November and occasionally into December. Other major crops include arugula, cilantro, and carrots. Co-op merchandiser Tony White insists Killdeer Farm carrots are the best-tasting carrots sold at the Co-op all year long!
